EscrowRecords is a public-record directory. If you see a wrong status, a broken source link, a missing licensee, or a factual error, we want to know. The registry of record always wins.
How to submit a correction
Email corrections@tryveto.com with the following:
- The licensee name or ID from the directory
- What is wrong (the specific field or claim)
- What the correct information should be
- A source link supporting the correction (if available)
Corrections are acknowledged within 7 days. If the correction is confirmed against the primary source, the entry is updated in the next pipeline run.
What we correct
- Wrong status: an entry marked "active" that is actually revoked or inactive, or vice versa
- Broken source link: a URL that no longer resolves or has moved
- Missing licensee: a DFPI escrow agent or DRE broker that should be in the directory
- Wrong license number or company: an incorrect license number or company association
- Outdated location: a wrong city, county, or branch address
What we do not change
We do not remove entries at the request of a named party. The entries are public records sourced from DFPI and DRE. If a license was revoked in error and was subsequently reinstated, we will update the status to reflect that, but the entry remains in the directory with a link to the reinstating order.
Source integrity
No licensee ships in the directory unless its source link resolves to the DFPI or DRE registry record. If a source link breaks, the entry is flagged and the pipeline attempts to find the new URL on the DFPI or DRE website before removing the entry.
The office decides. Veto records the review.
